How it works

Controlling your comfort is easy. Just use the smart remote controller to get your perfect temperature with the touch of a button. Adjust your mode of operation between COOL, HEAT, DRY or AUTO. AUTO mode will automatically decide if you need cooling or heating delivered to the space to maintain the set temperature. You can even adjust fan speed and the direction of the vane (on applicable units.) Everything you need to control your comfort is right there in your room with you; not in another room or a different floor. Comfort control - room by room.

Our INVERTER-driven compressor in the outdoor unit maximizes efficiency by automatically changing its speed to match the cooling and heating needs of a room. This technology allows us to ramp up compressor speed to quickly cool or heat a room (or multiple rooms) and reduce the compressor speed to maintain the ideal comfort level, while using less energy. This innovative system differs from conventional systems, which start and stop repetitively causing temperature variations and wasting energy.

This feature is just one of the smart technological advances that make the Mitsubishi Electric HVAC systems superior to other comfort conditioning options.

Once more, both the outdoor and indoor units operate quietly. The indoor units can operate as low as 19dBs: quieter than a human whisper. Our outdoor units operate as low as 46dBs, quieter than a refrigerator; whereas a traditional residential heat pump unit runs around 75dBs, equivalent to heavy traffic or a vacuum cleaner.

Allergen Filtration HVAC

Mitsubishi systems feature multi-stage allergen filtration for cleaner, healthier air.

Removes particulates and contaminants from the air with continuous fan operation for better air circulation

• Easy-to-clean hybrid catechin pre-filters absorb odors and last up to 10 years

• Anti-allergen filter traps dust, allergens and other particles to improve indoor air quality (IAQ)

• Platinum Deodorizing filter (select systems) uses nanotechnology for highly effective odor absorption

It's a fact that surprises many people. The air quality inside your home is often worse than the air quality outside. Mitsubishi Electric cooling and heating systems use a sophisticated multi-stage filtration system to help remove airborne particles and contaminants such as allergens, viruses, and bacteria from the air as they circulate within a room.

The large hybrid catechin pre-filter absorbs odor-causing gases. A blue-enzyme, anti-allergen filter helps reduce germs, bacteria, and viruses and helps trap dust, pollens, mites, and other particles that plague allergy sufferers. Some systems also include a Platinum Catalyst deodorizing filter to further reduce unpleasant odors. As a result you enjoy pristine air 24/7.

Easy Maintenance

Although the filtration system is sophisticated, it's easy to clean and maintain.  You can perform this task in a matter of minutes. Simply open the indoor unit's filter access; slide the screens out; wash them off; allow them to dry completely, and then slide them back into the unit. With regular cleaning, the hybrid catechin filters can last up to 10 years. This capability not only saves money, but is also good for the environment.
